An engineer visits your location with all necessary tools to digitally sanitise your storage media in accordance with industry standards. Data is completely removed while leaving hardware intact for remarketing. We offer 3-pass and 7-pass options for DoD compliance. Excess Technology uses Blancco software for certified erasure.
Onsite HDD Destruction
Our technicians come to your premises to destroy hard drives using our NSA-approved crusher. Every drive is physically destroyed beyond recovery, and a full destruction report listing all hard drives is provided upon completion.
Onsite Hard Drive Degaussing
We provide onsite magnetic degaussing of hard drives and tapes. Our degausser produces an erasing field many times stronger than the read/write heads in hard drives and tape drives — ensuring data is no longer recoverable by computer or laboratory attacks. A full degaussing report is provided.
Erasure of Network Devices
Networking devices such as switches and routers do not contain hard drives, but they hold configurations that must be removed. Our technicians erase all configurations on network devices and restore them to factory default, ensuring no sensitive data remains.
